Top 10 #UKSnow Tweets!

We Brits love nothing better than harping on about the weather – so the recent cold snap and deluge of snow has been a real talking point this week – and nowhere has this been more apparent than on Social Media networks.

A great example of this is thenow ubiquitous #uksnow hashtag on Twitter.

The idea behind the hashtag has been for people to mark how heavy the snowfall is in their area out of 10, with the results then plotted on live maps like this one

However, the #UKSnow tag has also been used by people to complain, celebrate and discuss the snow. Others have been shamefully using the tag to promote products, and other UKSnow tweets have been downright weird!
