The Foundation Level:

The Software Testing Foundation Level Qualification is aimed at professionals who need to demonstrate practical knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Software Testing. People who attend the Foundation level training includes Test Designers, Test Analysts, Test Engineers, Test Consultants, Test Managers, User Acceptance Testers and IT Professionals.

Software Testing Foundation Level Module:

ISTQB Software Testing Foundation

During this course, delegates will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of testing and why testing is necessary. Also, delegates will enhance their knowledge of testing throughout the software lifecycle and the different software Development models. This course lasts for 3 days with an examination of the final day.

The Intermediate Level Provided by BCS:

BCS Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing

This course has been designed to have a more practical approach to the core software testing material which is covered at the Foundation Level. Delegates will focus on the Software Testing fundamentals including the principles, types, management, and analysis. This course is for anyone involved in any aspect of software testing or who is looking for the more practical approach to the core software testing knowledge. Delegates must hold the Software Testing Foundation level and have at least 18 months experience in software testing.

The Advanced Level

The Software Testing Advanced Level Qualification is aimed at people who have already achieved the Software Testing Foundation certificate and are ready in enhancing their knowledge further. People who should attend the Advanced Testing training includes Testers, Test Analysts, Test Engineers, Test Consultants, Test Managers, User Acceptance Testers and Software Developers.

Software Testing Advanced Level Modules:

ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager

During this course, delegates will go through the testing process which includes Test Planning, Test Monitoring, and Test Control. Also, delegates will understand how to manage a test and the risk behind Software Testing. This course lasts for 5 days with an examination on the final day.

ISTQB Advanced Test Manager examination explained:


ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst

During this course, delegates will gain a better understanding of the whole testing process and testing in the Software Development Lifecycle whilst planning, monitoring and controlling the Test. This course lasts for 4 days with the examination on the final day.

ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst examination explained:


ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst

During this course, delegates will enhance their knowledge on Risk-based Testing and how to identify and assess Risk. Also, delegates will understand how to do structure-based testing and setting the correct conditions for testing. This course lasts for 3 days with the examination on the final day.
