Easy way to read Twitter like a newspaper with paper.li

Paper.li organizes  Twitter links into an newspaper-style format. You can create Newspapers for your own twitter account as well as any other users or even for # tags.

I was sceptical at first but tried it out on our @SBTtraining twitter account. It makes looking for interesting stuff to read about so much more visual. I love it. Take a look at our ‘today’s paper’

You might be interested in checking out what is being written about other people, or if you are like me and want to know what’s going on in Social Media you could check out Social Media Daily News. If you click the alert button you can even have hourly updates emailed to your inbox.

It creates the ‘newspaper’ using links shared by the specified user and the people they follow in the past 24 hours.

The ‘editor-in-chief’ is the specified account and the people being followed by the account are the ‘contributors’.

The user’s live stream is shown at the side of the page and the main page displays content around related subjects.

Ok, this is a really great idea. I certainly hope they release this in an app form on the iPad as that could be a huge hit and I would definitely want to use it.

What a great idea, how adaptable is it? I wonder if you could amend it to just one twitter feed. It might be a great way to display content from one account only to customers.
