you can select a part of an image in dreamweaver and attach properties to it.

the tools you need are at the bottom left of your properties menu underneath your page)

It says map - then ther are little blue shapes for drawing on your image - rectangles, circles or irregular shapes

once you have drawn the shape which appears blue on your image you can fill in the link property box.

to reselect your shape use the pointer tool in the same section.

hope this helps.

I tried this, however my logo is embedded in a Photoshop header banner and hence, I am unable to click on it to open up the properties panel for images.

Any advice?

Many thanks!
