Lean thinking is a widely adopted improvement approach that can greatly simplify processes and improve performance in both manufacturing and service organisations.
Lean recognises that most of an organisation’s processes are at best 40% value adding. Effectively applying Lean principles and tools can significantly improve the percentage of value added time; reduce process timescales; and reduce waste and the associated costs. At the same time there will be an improvement in customer service and satisfaction levels.
Our range of Lean Training courses covers everything you need, whether that be an introduction to Lean, or in-depth coverage of Lean Thinking tools and processes.
Lean Training Courses
This introductory Lean training course enables delegates to understand the benefits of Lean for their organisation; the key Lean principles, tools and techniques and how to approach implementation.
This practical 3-day Lean training course provides delegates with a practical introduction to Lean methods and tools, enabling them to undertake effective improvement activities to reduce costs and make improvements to the lead time and quality of their product or service.
This Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion training course forms the second part of our Six Sigma Black Belt Training Package following on from our 5-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training course.
Delegates should bring a well defined project with them to the course, including SIPOC, Process Map and Data. You will be able to undertake live project work during the course and in the month’s gap between the two weeks of training.
Our Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training package makes it easy for organisations to get their staff to Six Sigma Black Belt level via a convenient modular approach.
Delegates who only require Green Belt certification can attend just the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course, whilst those who require Black Belt certification can go on to take our Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion training course.
This intensive two day Root Cause Analysis training course is based on the proven Six Sigma performance improvement methodology with a strong focus on analysing the root cause of problems and developing appropriate solutions.
Our Root Cause Analysis course starts by identifying, prioritising and defining problems. We then consider how to measure problems and use data and process analysis to understand then. We explore the root cause analysis tools required and apply them to deliver an effective solution.
Lean thinking has become a widely adopted improvement approach that can greatly simplify processes and improve performance.
The focus of this 2-day Value Stream Mapping training course is to provide delegates with the practical skills to use value stream mapping in a service or manufacturing organisation. This two day Value Stream Mapping training course uses a blend of theory and practical exercises.
