Harrogate is a resort town, also known as ‘The English Spa’ situated on the shore of the Yorkshire Dales with a population of around 71,594 according to 2001 census. The history of the town can be traced from two main communities High Harrogate and Low Harrogate located in the Royal Forest of Knaresborough. Harrogate International Centre is the country’s largest conference, and exhibition centre attracts around 350000 visitors every year and contributing 150 GBP to the economy of the city.


The nearest airport Leeds Bradford International Airport has situated 10 miles away from the city and is easily accessible by bus and train stations. The city has four main railway stations operated by Northern Railways and one bus station providing transport connections to the city.
