Six sigma training is essential, as in my case I recently took the Six Sigma Green Belt in health care from Villanova University Online, and I can now address issues facing the hospital I work in. My next step is to take the Lean Six Sigma and eventually work my way to the Master Black Belt.

hello!

I have a doubt in six sigma. How to reduce the no. of customer clarification per requirment.
assume we have 10 requirments.
Requirments no. of times we contacted customer
   4 10
   3 7
   3 6

Now we have to avoid the no. of contacts. So what are the ways there to get this?

Dear Samir,

In answer to your question I have provided a little more clarification regarding the different Six Sigma Belt levels below:

Yellow Belt - Suitable for somebody who is going to be a Team Member of a Six Sigma project team. Yellow Belt level will provide a basic understanding the key processes and some of the basic tools.

Green Belt - Suitable for somebody will be the Team Leader of a Six Sigma project team. Green Belt level training provides a good understanding of the processes and many of the tools. Six Sigma Green Belts will understand a number of key statistical techniques but not be an expert in their application.

Black Belt - Suitable for delegates who are leading or supporting multiple Six Sigma projects on a continuous basis – it is their full time job. They may also be providing internal training programmes for Green Belts. They need to thoroughly understand Six Sigma processes and a wide range of statistical and process improvement tools.

I hope this helps. If you are new ro Six Sigma, our recommendation would be to start with the 5-day Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course (you do not have to have any Six Sigma experience as a pre-requisite). You should then run at least one project as a Green Belt before going on to take the 10-day Six Sigma Black Belt Conversion course.

If you require any further information please feel free to post again, or to call me on +44 (0)1273 622272.

Kind Regards
