Demonstrate Results: When your project is successful, the Six Sigma Blackbelt should make sure that the company is aware of the difference that Six Sigma has made to the company. It will also help the Six Sigma Blackbelts reputation as someone who can get things done; it will help to gain respect and cooperation. Make sure your achievements are recognised.

Work closely with your Champion: Make time regular sessions with your Champion. Ask for his/her help. Be honest about the project and ask for his/her assistance with ironing out problems. Make sure they are fully involved.

Finally – Keep optimistic. Do not get discouraged by minor setbacks, they will be inevitable. No change process is without resistance or error. Six Sigma is all about solving problems; some are going to be easier than others. Develop good interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with co-workers and gain their respect and cooperation. Be persistent and patient and the rewards will speak for themselves.
