AutoFill can also be used for Time.

Try this out by entering 1:00 into a cell and then drag your selection downwards using the little arrow in the bottom right of the selected cess as you did in the last sextion. You can also change the way that the time is displayed using the format box at the center of the ribbon:

Auto Fill can be used for any series of numbers. For this to work Excel needs a small starting series so that it can work out the rest of the sequence. For instance you can place numbers after text, and Excel will increase the number in each cell, but copy the text the same each time:

If you want a series of numbers that increases in larger increments (for instance 2,4,6,8,10), you’ll need to give Excel a helping hand by filling in the first couple of numbers in the list first. Try this by entering 2 in a cell, and 4 in the cell below it. Now highlight BOTH cells, and drag the auto-fill box down over more cells as before to continue the sequence going up by 2 each time.
