The Count Function

The count function is used to count the number of values that there are in a series of cells. Rather than adding up the numbers in a list, the COUNT function will tell you how many numbers are in the list.

The same principle applies to this function as previous functions we have looked at. To apply this function you type in =COUNT() and then fill in in-between the brackets the range of cells you want to apply the function to:
